Turumi was born from a simple idea — to create bath and body essentials that are thoughtful, honest, and made without hurry.

The name Turumi comes from a childhood nickname, given with affection by the founder’s father. What began as something deeply personal slowly grew into a brand rooted in care, familiarity, and everyday rituals.

Each Turumi product is handmade in small batches in coastal Karnataka, using plant-based ingredients and time-tested methods. We believe that what you use on your body should feel gentle, purposeful, and easy to trust — safe enough to be used by our own family.

Our approach is intentionally slow. We make less, choose thoughtfully, and focus on essentials that fit naturally into daily routines. There are no shortcuts here — only careful formulation, mindful sourcing, and attention to detail at every step.

Turumi is a woman-led brand, based in Dakshina Kannada, Karnataka. As we grow, we aim to train and employ women from local communities, creating opportunities while staying rooted in the place we call home.
